Genetics of Purple Punch x Do-Si-Dos

On the father's side we have Do-Si-Dos, a variety created by crossing two top quality cultivars: OGKB (a particularly potent phenotype of the world famous Girl Scout Cookies) and the highly reputed Face Off OG from Archive Seeds.

Do-Si-Dos boasts excellent flavour and aroma, accompanied by a profoundly relaxing body effect while providing a powerfully psychedelic cerebral effect, leaving you with an active mind and a permanent smile etched onto your face, inspiring an sensation of enormous well-being and deep physical relaxation.

Plants displays vigorous growth, is easy to handle and responds well to pruning, adapting without problems to most cultivation techniques either in soil, coco or hydro.

During the flowering period you can observe the best characteristics of Do-Si-Dos, being an excellent producer of dense, resin-coated buds with high concentrations of THC.

Its distinctive blend of flavours and aromas are highly addictive, just one taste of Do-Si-Dos will have you coming back for more again and again. This potent Indica plant has a well-branched structure and is easy to grow, responding well to pruning and suitable for cultivation in SCROG. Purple Punch takes about 60 days to finish flowering and delivers medium to high yields, allowing us to harvest between 450 and 550g per m2.

Opiniones of Purple Punch x Do-Si-Dos and doubts

I grew one in hydro, here are a few notes: - she looks gorgeous - her buds are very compact, she looked like 25g but ended up being 45g - harvest weight was 45g in 1/9 m^2 so 405g/m^2, she did not fill the space completely and has large internode distance allowing for lots of light penetration so next time I will let her get bigger for larger yield - mine smells more like dosidos, more that 20% yield with rosin and very nice rosin color - the effect: stronger than average, emphasises my mood a lot --> when I am in a bad mood or when I need to study boring/difficult things I feel a bit depressed ^^' but when I am in a happy mood it makes me a bit silly singing songs and laughing at my own jokes :D - pretty relaxing effect, slightly psychedelic (big bong hits make it difficult to read text), targets the mind more than the body - not the best taste and not much taste in hydro. I will grow her again in full organic living soil! Thanks philo seeds for providing such nice genetics

Wow, huge thanks for the in-depth report!!! It's true that the buds of this variety are so dense that the weight can fool you easily! The 20% plus return on rosin doesn't surprise me either, these are resin beasts and yield very well in all forms of extract. I have found the effect to be intensely relaxing but the examples I've grown (outdoors in organic living soil) have all been more on the rotten fruit side of the cross, more Punch influence, but it makes for a very powerful flavour profile. Interested to see if you find much difference in flavour and effect between hydro and living soil. Thaks again for your review, we really appreciate it. Best wishes!

Hi Folks. I wanted to extend my appreciation to you for producing purple punch and do-si-dos. I received 5 seeds, but only germinated and grew 1 plant to include in my outdoor varieties. I started in April. Incredibly easy to grow. Lots of branching. Pure female. Easy to clone. She started to flower end of August. She was pest, mould and mildew resistant. Huge trichome production. She surpassed all my expectations so far. This is now my personal favorite strain. Thanks Fred

How many different phenos should I expect from this one?

Please excuse the late reply. There are mainly two phenos, although you'll also find plants with a mix of flavours from both parents (the best pheno imho). It is short, purple and with amazing berry cake scent, easy to find even within 5 seeds.

Anything with Purple Punch in the genetics has to be worth a closer look so I bought 2 packs of these and I now have 4 of these lovely ladies at the end of week 7. My other half just keeps on looking at them repeating, ‘wow’, ‘wow’, ‘wow’. They are stunning to look at, multicoloured main colas, tight as hell and covered in so much resin I know I’ll end up with a huge pile of ice-o-lator from the trim. Guaranteed. Two more weeks and they will be down. So looking forward to the smoke. I will be back later to let folks know what the yield was and provide a smoke report. I know already the yield won’t disappoint. I’ll be ordering both the Key Lime Pie & Blue Sherbet x Do-Si-Dos crosses shortly. Great stuff Philosopher Seeds.
