L.A. Vanilla Cake, cultivation
L.A. Vanilla Cake displays great vigour from seedling, reflected in a slender yet robust structure with abundant secondary ramification with a medium internodal spacing. This genetics has a high nutrient requirement. To get the most out of this plant probably requires more than one cultivation and learning how it behaves based on the different fertilisers used.
In indoor cultivation it is a plant of great vigour and ramification which makes it a great choice for SCROG, SOG, SuperCropping and certain low stress pruning. These growing techniques can offer maximum potential, with a yield of up to 550-600g per m2 in a flowering cycle of about 60-65 days.
Outdoors the structure is enhanced by sun exposure, with plants up to 3m tall with a slender structure and abundant ramification. The secondary branches show a significant difference compared to indoor or outdoor cultivation, as they grow much more vigorously and produce more flowers. Outdoors, the yield can reach up to 1300-1500g per plant under optimal conditions and cultivated in open ground. The harvest is ready in mid-late October.
L.A. Cake produces large flowers with a great fleshiness and hardness. In addition to its high quality, it produces an impressive white resin layer with some purple touches. Certainly a harvest that looks like a collection of precious stones.
