Philosopher Seeds presents its new variety Gorilla Zkittlez. This hybrid is based on two well-known phenotypes among the US cannabis community. Gorilla Zkittlez: Zkittlez x Gorilla Glue #4
Gorilla Zkittlez is the encounter between two selected clones, Zkittlez and Gorilla Glue #4.
Zkittlez is the pollen receiving plant, and the main genetics of the acclaimed Runtz. It presents a powerful tropical terpene with really nice sour tones.
Gorilla Glue, the other parental, (Sour Dubb x Chem Sister) x Chocolate Diesel has an interesting history behind it. It is a plant developed by Joesy Whales (GGStrains) that rose to fame thanks to its outstanding characteristics. The #4 phenotype used in this hybrid, is really special and only available as cuttings. It has also been used in other Philosopher Seeds genetics such as Gorilla Glue Auto and Mai Tai.
Gorilla Glue #4 is a plant with really good attributes for extractions. Its texture and return are amazing, as well as its dense flower production and large calibre.
Gorilla Zkittlez, up to 1kg of buds
Gorilla Zkittlez has inherited Gorilla Glue #4 growth pattern. It is vigorous and performs very well in any outdoor or indoor growing medium. Its great vigour provides it a great resistance to possible pests. It develops a good secondary ramification.
Zkittlez maximum expression in aromas are obtained using organic cultivation. Zkittlez aromas in coco or hydro are muted, yet those more Chem and Diesel from Gorilla Glue #4 are enhanced. It is important to note that Gorilla Zkittlez does not require much nutrition. It does not tolerate excess fertiliser or "hot" substrates, with salt accumulation. It prefers light fertilisers and spaced out over time.
Indoors, in 120cm x 120cm spaces or grow tents, it can produce a yield of up to 600g per m2 of amazing looking, quality, dry buds in about 8-9 weeks of flowering. Outdoors it is a really easy plant to grow, but it requires a lot of space, or a good pot size, to properly develop the roots. Using a quality substrate, together with humus and guano, one can obtain abundant and high quality yields. Outdoors requires at least 6 hours of direct sunlight, with the harvest ready in early October in the Northern Hemisphere. It delivers high yields up to 1000g per plant when cultivated in open ground and under optimal conditions.
Gorilla Zkittlez, sour, earthy and tropical cannabis
Gorilla Zkittlez give off complex aromas, mixing earthy terpenes with tropical and sour Sherbet inherited from Zkittlez.
The exotic fruity aromas can be found in really productive phenotypes with high gland quality. It is a terpene that starts to show soon after flowering and is maintained in extractions.
Gorilla Zkittlez, high THC levels
Gorilla Glue #4 is well known for its strong punch and high THC content up to 30%. It is one of the favourite strains for US potheads to immolate themselves with the bong. It delivers a fast and powerful effect which can be very heavy and incapacitating. Zkittlez adds a Sativa touch to the effect, making it less harsh and much more enjoyable.
Gorilla Zkittlez can provide a very introspective effect to enjoy quiet moments in good company, but it is not recommended when requiring physical tasks or high concentration, unless one have a high THC tolerance.
