Hi there Philosopher, I just got 10 seeds of your Blueberry Jamaican OX. I was wondering how to start the seeds, given that they have a Jamaican parental would they start better directly on soil? I normally soak the seeds in water for about 24 hours, then hatch them in paper towels and finally move them into soil when they have sprouted a couple of centimetres. I will be growing them under a 450W LED light, do you think they will need an extra Cal-Mag boost? Many other strains seem to miss it under this light. I am currently using a Bio-Bizz feeding scheme with extra molasses, any feeding indications you would add for this strain? Is she a heavy or a light feeder? Many thanks!

Hi Sven,
Despite its Jamaican origins, it doesn't stretch like pure jamaican plants do. You can germinate it as you wish, no special needs (personally, I always recommend to germinate the seeds first in papel towels, etc. rather than directly in the soil).
Curious about the cal/mag needs with that light, what type of water are you using? RO?
I'd start with light feeding and raise the amount of nutrients in case the plants need it, but no, she's not a heavy feeder.
Best of luck! ;)
