ORZ S1 is the result of the self-pollination of Oooze x Oooze, a cannabis hybrid originating from the USA whose name evokes the famous cookie due to its aromatic similarity, something connoisseurs can confirm when tasting its well-cured flowers.

This genetics, created by 3rd Coast Genetics through the cross between Secret Weapon and Cookies & Cream, is only available as a clone in the United States, and Philosopher's S1 version is the most faithful rendition of the original Oooze cut.

The self-pollination of Oooze, ORZ S1, is an indica-leaning plant characterized by its vigour and pest resistance, easily adapting to outdoor, indoor and greenhouse cultivation. It presents wide leaves and a compact structure, typical of the finest indica varieties. At the onset of flowering it can double in size rapidly, so it does not require a long vegetative period. In the final stages of flowering, its leaves tend to acquire very dark hues, even black, becoming covered in abundant resin. Its large calyxes display orange/reddish pistils, giving it an impressive visual appearance.

During cultivation, the use of supports is advised to keep the main branches upright. The dense and heavy flowers need approximately 60 days of flowering to reach optimal maturity. Outdoors, harvest usually takes place in early October; when grown in soil (mother earth) with sufficient direct sun exposure, it can achieve exceptional yields, easily exceeding 600 g/plant. Mid-flowering, it is crucial to maintain adequate humidity levels to prevent bud rot, due to its tendency toward compactness.

Its cultivation is undoubtedly rewarding due to its excellent organoleptic quality and high resin production, making it an ideal strain for producing various types of extracts and concentrates. In indoor cultivation, ORZ S1 tolerates high PPFD levels during flowering (between 800-900 µmol/m2/s), benefiting from elevated light intensities. To preserve its organoleptic properties and maximise retention of the most volatile terpenes, it is recommended to reduce PPFD approximately 15 days before harvest.
