OG Kush, a living legend
Among the varieties with the highest THC content available is the famous OG Kush, a strain that has earned a reputation for being one of the most potent and sought-after worldwide and has given rise to countless new lines and hybrids. This variety, originally from California, has won multiple awards thanks to its distinctive flavor and its potent and long-lasting effect, which it usually passes on to its offspring. If we look at the genetics with the most THC on the market, and for years now, Kush or its hybrids tend to occupy the top positions, a clear indication of the potency of these varieties, as well as the stability of this particular trait. The result of a cross between a Kush line that stands out for its potency and a genetic called Banana (for obvious reasons), Utopia Farms created Banana OG, a powerful hybrid with extremely high levels of THC that also presented a delicious and uncommon ripe banana terpene. C. Banana, a THC bomb
However, the most striking feature and the reason this plant achieved such fame is not its spectacular flavor and aroma, nor its generous resin production, nor its long cola buds; it was its extremely high THC content, which easily exceeded 30%, making it one of the most coveted genetics by breeders and growers worldwide. And it's not too common to find varieties with such a percentage of this cannabinoid! C. Banana is not a difficult variety to grow, quite the opposite; its nutritional requirements are not special, and its growth pattern facilitates obtaining clones frequently, being an excellent candidate for a mother plant thanks to its vegetative vigor. Once in flowering, which will last about 9 weeks, its buds are quickly covered by a beautiful layer of resin that releases pleasant sweet and fruity fragrances. As the plant matures, the intense banana notes in its aroma become more noticeable, creating dense flowers that can yield 450-500 grams per square meter of cultivation. Banana is truly powerful, not suitable for performing tasks that require concentration or precision, although ideal for relaxing and enjoying a good movie, a book, or a walk. C. Banana Auto, a top-tier autoflowering
The automatic version of C. Banana has been created by crossing the original genetics with a high-quality automatic variety in terms of terpenes, Banana Zkittlez Auto. Thanks to the terpene profile of the latter, similar to that of the former, and of course to the selection work done in each generation of the cross, they have managed to stabilize the most characteristic traits of C. Banana while adding the autoflowering gene, achieving plants that complete their full cycle (from seed to harvest) in 9-10 weeks regardless of the light/dark hours received. Given the vigor preserved in the cross, this is an auto that can grow considerably if it has sufficient space for the roots and a generous photoperiod in terms of light hours, producing a large quantity of aromatic buds full of resin if it receives adequate care. An excellent option if you're interested in a productive auto genetic, of great quality in terms of flavor and aroma and, above all, with amounts of THC rarely seen in autoflowering plants.
