We start this post with the presentation in our Blog of a new marijuana seedbank , Philosopher Seeds. The main idea of this initiative is to put on your hands all the necessary information to help you to better grow our strains and understand our philosophy of life and work. This space will be updated with all the information and pictures generated during our daily activity as a seedbank; growing reports, extraction methods, Cannabinoid analysis, smoke reports, quality control systems, cannabis events, etc...

This Blog is open to comments so that information flows  in all directions, since it is vital for us to know your growing experiences and your satisfaction level regarding our products. In this way, we greatly expand the experimentation range, a key element for the evolution of our project as Marijuana seedbank.

On the other hand, we also want to use this platform - as well as other social networks like Facebook , Twitter and Instagram - to organize growing report contests, photography competitions, and basically any initiative which favors the excange of information between growers and users. As we mentioned before, our intention is that information flows in all possible directions since we believe this is the basis for your growth as growers and ours as seed producers.

Philosopher Seeds marijuana strains Family Tree

With the intention to supplement the information offered in our first post, and to help you deepen into our seedbank, we offer you the Family Tree of our hybrids. Is there a better way to knowing ourselves than through our origins and ancestors?

As all our most loyal fans know, our seed collection currently consists of two families which are already on the market. The Classic Line cannabis seed family is the line with which we started our cannabis adventure, and has some high quality hybrids, prize-winner genetics in several cannabis cups like Amnesika 2.0 and K13 Haze, recognized as high THC marijuana strains.

As you can see in the Classic Line Family Tree, we find among the strains the White Afghan - a strain which is not on the market anymore - so that people who keep this genetics in their mother plant growrooms can acces to our data on this strain.

Our newest marijuana seed line is the Golo Line, a joint project of Philosopher Seeds and the team of breeders of Reggae Seeds. In this new line of hybrids we offer you high CBD strains like SuperJuani, capable of reaching up to 10% CBD.

We have now available a new autoflowering cannabis seed line, Auto Line, where you will find three old school and famous marijuana strains such as White Russian, Super Skunk and U.K. Exodus Cheese. These are perfect strains for outdoor growing. Their vigorous growth and explosive flowering allow you to perform several crops per year. Soon we will provide all the necessary information on our autoflowering varieties with new posts and growing reports, also including the Family Tree of these new automatic cannabis genetic lines.

Test Line seeds from Philosopher Seeds

We also offer you the chance to test a large number of strains which are not on our catalogue with the Test Line seeds. Thanks to a hard work of selection and breeding we can bring you this collection of new and interesting hybrids.

We can not forget the importance of regular seeds for the maintenance and development of new cannabis lines. Our team is hardly working to offer new regular marijuana seeds through the Regular Line, which we hope will be a reality in late 2014.
